When Agra excursion is done with Rajasthan tours it would give you a chance to make you acquainted with the essence of Rajasthan. Your journey will start with your arrival at Agra and later you will start exploring significant places of Rajasthan such as Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer, just to name a few.
Day 1 – Agra Arrival
Have your tour started with Agra Arrival. You will be received by our representative. You will be transferred to your hotel. Have some rest and later start with Agra sightseeing for half day.
You will visit the Following places –
Agra Fort – Also known as Red Fort of Agra, the monument was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. Diwan-E-Aam is a pleasing attraction of Agra Fort.
Itmad-Ud-Daula – It is also known as Baby Taj. The place is built on Yamuna River Bank. The architecture of the place is an inspiration to Taj Mahal.
Taj Mahal – During sunset hours you will visit Taj Mahal. This white mausoleum is considered as the sign of love.
You will spend your night in the hotel.
Day 2 – Agra To Jaipur
After breakfast you will start driving towards Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is beautiful place which has served as Mughal Capital during Mughal reign. Buland Darwaza, Salim Chisti Tomb is the major attraction of the place.
You will later travel forward towards Jaipur and transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3 – Jaipur City Tour
The next day you will be exploring the beauty of royal city Jaipur. Have your scrumptious breakfast and then you will first visit to –
Amber Fort – The magnificent fort which is located beside Maota Lake. The fort is marvelous specimen of Rajputi architecture.
City Palace – The place is filled with charismatic history and enigmatic present. Museum in city palace is marvelous. Chandra Mahal is still occupied by Royal Family of the city.
Hawa Mahal – aka palace of winds, this monument is compact with 953 small windows (jharokas). It was built for royal ladies to see daily happenings of the city.
Places such as Jantar Mantar, Birla Temple and Govind Dev Ji temple are other prominent places of the city. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4 – Jaipur to Pushkar via Ajmer
The next morning you will leave for holy city Pushkar. It is known for its pristine ghats and divine temples. On your way you will take a halt at Ajmer. In Ajmer you will visit –
Ana Sagar Lake –It is a beautiful and huge lake that is visited by several tourists and locals on daily basis. Boating in Ana Sagar is one of the major fascination points.
Ajmer Sharif Dargarh–A prominent Islamic Shrine that is quite famous among all the Muslims around the world. People of all cast, creed and religion coming under one roof are showing a fine example of unity in diversities.
You will travel forward to Pushkar. Stay in hotel, take rest of some time. Start Pushkar exploration. Major attractions of the city are the pristine ghats of Pushkar which are surrounded by various small and big temples. You will also visit gorgeous Brahmma Temple, the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahmma in the world.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 – Driving towards Jodhpur
Have your scrumptious breakfast and later you will be driving towards Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan after Jaipur. On Jodhpur arrival you will be transferred to you pre-booked hotel. The remaining day will be at your discretion. Take an overnight stay in hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 6 – Jodhpur City Tour
Have scrumptious breakfast in the morning and later you will be off to explore the enigma of Blue City Jodhpur. Here are the major places you will explore during Jodhpur visit –
Mehrangarh Fort – It is a largest Indian Fort where blockbuster Hollywood movie was shot, Batman. It took 500 years to build Mehrangarh Fort.
Umaid Bhavan Palace – This majestic palace is world’s largest private residence with more than 370 rooms.
Other tourist spots in Jodhpur which you might visit are Jaswant Thada, Balsamand Lake, Clock Tower, Ramdevra temple and many more.
Back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7 – Jodhpur to Jaisalmer
Have your scrumptious breakfast and then you will be off to the Golden City Jaisalmer. The historical monuments of Jaisalmer arebuilt with yellow sandstone. Thus it throws the golden hues during the sunset hours of the day. On your arrival at Jaisalmer you will be shifted to your hotel. Have some rest and then you will start travelling towards Sam Sand Dunes.
Sam Sand Dunes is a must see sightseeing place which is stretching its sweeping dunes where you can enjoy camel safari. The spectacular view of horizon dipped in the golden hues will be spectacular.
You will return to Jaisalmer by sunset. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 8 – Jaisalmer Excursion
Have your scrumptious breakfast and then you will be off to explore the charming Jaisalmer city aka desert city. You will visit places such as –
Jaisalmer Fort – It is a massive yellow fort which is built during 12th century. Popularly called Sonar Quila, the palace is having intricately carved windows, door and rich architecture.
Gadi Sagar Lake –You will also visit 14th century lake which is an oasis in the desert city of Jaisalmer. Temples around the lake fascinates travellers round the world.
Salim Singh Ki Haveli is another tourist attraction that you might visit during your Jaisalmer excursion. You will return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9 – Jaisalmer To Bikaner
Have scrumptious breakfast in the hotel and later you will be off to the city named Bikaner. On your way to Bikaner you will travel to the rat temple. The shrine is famous for rats which are considered sacred. These rats are worshiped here and are fed with milk and Prasad.
You will later travel forward to Bikaner. You will be transferred to your hotel and make an overnight stay.
Day 10 – Bikaner Sightseeing
The next day you will be visiting all major tourist attractions of Bikaner city. You will travelled forward towards –
Junagarh Fort –A huge fort that is boasted with huge architecture make your tour memorable. Zenana quarters, Karan Mahal, Phool Mahal, Anup Mahal are the major attraction of Junagarh Fort.
Gajner Palace –This beautiful palace was once served as the Maharaja of Sir Ganga Singh of Bikaner. Places such as DungarNiwas, Mandir Chowk, GulabNiwas and ChampaNiwas are the major attraction of Gajner Palace.
National Research Centre on Camel, Rampuria Haveli, Bandasar Jain temple are some other major attraction of the place.
Day 11 – Mandawa
Have scrumptious breakfast in the hotel and later drive towards the city of Havelis. You will be visiting towards the Shekhawati region.
Day 12 – Mandawa to New Delhi
This is the last day of yours in Mandawa. You will travel towards New Delhi. On arrival you will be shifted towards Delhi International Airport. From here you will board on a flight to your destination onwards.
