Through our 15 days Magical Rajasthan tour you will be exploring some of the finest places of the state. Journey through this place will be started from Jaipur and will be taken towards Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and you will reach to Chittorgarh and ultimately to Ranthambore Tiger Park.
Day 1 – Jaipur Arrival
You will be arriving in the Pink City Jaipur and later will be transferred to Hotel. In the evening you will shift to Chokhi Dhani. It is an ethnic village theme restaurant that offers its travellers a wide range of exclusive Rajasthani feeling. From folk dance to camel ride to scrumptious Rajasthani delicacies, you will love each and everything in here. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2 – Jaipur to Mandawa
Next morning you will start travelling towards the historical place of Mandawa. Mandawa is quite famous for havlis. On your arrival you will be shifted to your hotel, you will take some rest and then you all day will be dedicated to Mandawa Sightseeing. You will see –
Binsidhar Newatia Haveli – It is famous for its colorful paintings and historical importance that dates back to 1921 AD.
Murmuria Haveli –Constructed in 1930s, the havelis is best known for its classy paintings. The place also has been a major centre for political leaders.
Mandawa Fort – This is an 18th century fort that attracts large number of tourists. Built by Nawal Singh the fort is comprises with various Lord Krishna paintings, mirror work and many more.
The night will be spent in Mandawa in the hotel.
Day 3 – Mandawa to Bikaner
Have your breakfast in the morning and then you will be off to Bikaner. The whole day you will be dedicated to Bikaner excursion. You will visit to the places such as –
Junagarh Fort – The fort was constructed in 1588 AD by Raja Rai Singh. This huge fort is known for its intrigue red sandstone and marble visitors.
Karni Mata Temple (Rat Temple) – This temple is known as the house of numerous of rats. These rats are considered sacred and worshiped with milk and Prasad.
Remaining day you will be exploring other major cities of the city. Return to hotel for overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4 – Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Have scrumptious breakfast in the hotel and start driving towards Jaisalmer, the Golden City of Jaisalmer. The remaining day will be at your discretion.
Day 5 – Jaisalmer Excursion
The next morning after breakfast you will start with Jaisalmer sightseeing excursion. Filled with the monuments built with yellow sandstones truly justifies its name Golden City when sunray reflects the yellow hues from these monuments. Here are the places that you would be exploring during your Jaisalmer excursion –
Jaisalmer Fort – This majestic fort is one of the largest Indian fort that is known for its beautiful architecture. The setting sun adds value to the mystique beauty of this fort.
Government Museum –This is another prime location that is display the trophy of State bird of Rajasthan, Godawan.
Salim Singh Ki Haveli – This 18th century marvel is worth experience. High roof, carved peacocks brackets are the major attractions of the fort.
You will return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 – Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
The next morning you will be starting your day with healthy breakfast and later you will be start travelling towards Jodhpur city. Jodhpur is also known as Sun City and is popularly called Blue City.
In approx 5 hours of driving you will arrive at Jodhpur and you will travel towards your hotel, take some rest and later start with half day Jodhpur sightseeing places. You will visit –
Mehrangarh Fort – This huge fort is beautiful and is one of the largest forts in the world. It took 500 years to build this monument. Rao Jodha Singh commenced this fort and completed by his successors.
Umaid Bhawan Palace – Listed among last build palaces in India, Umaid Bhawan Palace is also known for its huge architecture and beautifully adorned rooms.
Clock Tower – This tower is an amazing place and is a prominent landmarks which is visited by numerous tourists from all over the world.
After whole day of sightseeing you will return to your hotel, have sumptuous dinner and go for night stay.
Day 7 – Jodhpur to Mount Abu
Have your breakfast in the hotel and start driving towards Mount Abu. Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan. On your way you will take a halt at Ranakpur –famous for the beautifully carved Ranakpur Jain Temples. On your arrival at Mount Abu you will be shifted to your hotel. Take some rest and go to Sunset Point in the evening. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 8 – Mount Abu
Have sumptuous breakfast and later you will be started travelling towards Mount Abu sightseeing places. You will going explore the following beautiful sites –
Dilwara Jain Temples – This is a prominent pilgrim site that is playing a vital role in Jainism. The temples date back to 11th and 13th century. Marble carving of this place is worth watching.
Nakki Lake The pristine lake is a marvelous place to visit. Listed among the most beautiful places in Mount Abu, Nakki Lakes fascinates travellers from all across the world.
Here are some more places that you can enjoy visiting in Mount Abu, these places are Guru Shikhar, Achalgarh Village, Trevors Tank and many more.
Get back to hotel and make an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 9 – Travelling to Udaipur
Have your scrumptious breakfast in the morning and then you will be off to Udaipur City excursion. The city of Lakes is mesmerizing place to visit. You will be shifted to your hotel, take some rest and later start with half day Udaipur sightseeing. You will visit places such as –
City Palace Complex –This majestic palace is worth experiencing. Huge architecture and flourishing site is famous for the crystal gallery.
Lake Pichola – The placid Lake Pichola Lake is a beautiful lake famous for its huge size. This man-made lake of Udaipur is flocked by various travellers from across the world. Boating in Lake Pichola is significant tourist attraction.
Saheliyon Ki Bari – The garden of maidens is charming place to spend some quality time with your near and dear ones. The nicely carved stone pea-cocks are major attraction of the place.
The places such as Lake Palace, Jag Mandir, Jagdish Temple and Crystal Gallery are other prominent tourist attraction of the city. After whole day of sightseeing you will be returning to your hotel and stay here for overnight.
Day 10 – Travelling to Nathdwara and Back to Udaipur
On this day you will be travelling to most happening yet sacred place of Udaipur, it is called Nathdwara.
Nathdwara Temple – This is sacred temple that dates back to 17th century. The place is dedicated to Lord Srinathji who is considered as the incarnation of Lord Krishna.
HaldiGhati – This is a historic place that holds various stories of valor and chivalry. Huge war took place in HaldiGhati region between RanaPratap Singh of Mewar and Raja Man Singh of Amber.
EklingJi Temple – The beautiful temple is dedicated Lord Shiva, The huge black color five faced Shiva Lingam is worshiped by various devotees of Shiva.
After whole day Udaipur excursion you will travel back to your hotel in Udaipur. Night stay in hotel in Udaipur will be done.
Day 11 – Udaipur to Chittorgarh
Not far away from Udaipur is the city of Chittorgarh. You will take your scrumptious breakfast in Udaipur hotel and then you will be off to the land of historic legends and bravery, Chittorgarh. In next 2 hours you will arrive at Chittorgarh.
On your arrival you will be shifting to your hotel and then will be off to Chittorgarh Fort after having some rest.
Chittorgarh Fort –This 7th century fort is highly associated with the civalry of queen Padmavati. This is the very fort where she performed Jauhar b jumping into huge pyre with other royal ladies and maidens when the fort was attacked by Allau-din-Khilji.
You will travel back to your hotel in Chittorgarh after sightseeing. The remaining day will be at your discretion.
Day 12 – Travelling to Bundi
Bundi is yet another beautiful place in Rajasthan that has been a prominent kingdom and known for brave Rajput warriors. After breakfast you will start travelling to the beautiful city of Bundi. In next 2 and half hour you will reach at Bundi.
Later you will be shifted to your hotel. Have lunch, freshen up and later start with Bundi excursion. You will visit –
Taragarh Fort – The fort is beautiful and is historical. It was built in 1354 AD. The fortress was found in Rao Deva. You can visit this majestic fort from 8 AM to 7 PM in summers and till 5 PM in winter.
ChaurasiKhambon Ki Chattri – This monument is marvelous and is supported by 84 pillars. Beautiful carvings and marvelous architecture is something worth watching.
Sukh Mahal – Another enchanting palace which is located on the periphery of Lake Jait Sagar. The huge umbrella on the roof is another attraction of Sukh Mahal.
Return to your hotel after whole day sightseeing. Have a relaxing night stay in your hotel.
Day 13 – Travelling to Ranthambore
You will love travelling and exploring the rich wildlife of Ranthambore. Formerly served as the hunting ground of Maharajas of Jaipur Ranthambore is the house of Regal and fierce Bengal Tiger. You will start driving towards Ranthambore after breakfast and then you will be off to Ranthambore. In next 4 and half hour you will reach Ranthambore. On arrival you will be shifted to your jungle resort. Freshen up for Jungle safari in the evening. Return to your hotel/ jungle resort and spend an overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 14 – Ranthambore Excursion and Jaipur
In the early hours of the morning you will start Ranthambore excursion. You will watch various species of animals, birds and aqua species. Return to hotel. Have breakfast and leave for Jaipur.
On Jaipur arrival after 4 hours of driving you will be shifted to your hotel. Start exploring Jaipur sightseeing places in half-day sightseeing of Jaipur –
Hawa Mahal – The palace is known for its amazing architecture. It is compact with more than 950 small jharokas which were used to see the daily happenings of the city.
Jal Mahal – You will love the pristine location of Jal Mahal amidst Man Sagar Lake. Jal Mahal and is surrounding is talking point of many travellers (National and international).
Jantar Mantar – This astronomical site is biggest one among all in the country. The place was built to calculate astronomical and solar calculations.
If time allows you can also for shopping to the old markets of the city which are considered as old as this city.Johri Bazar, Khandaharka Rasta, ChotiChaupar, BadiChaupar and Jayanti Bazaar are some major shopping hub of Jaipur. You will return to hotel in Jaipur and go for overnight stay in here.
Day 15 – Departure
This is your last in this 15 days Rajasthan tour. You will take your breakfast and later start visiting some prominent places of Jaipur such as Amber Palace, Kanak Vrindavan and Jaigarh Fort. All these places can be covered in the morning hours.
Later by the noon you will drive back to Delhi. You will be shifted to Delhi airport and from here you will take a flight to your destination onwards.
Note: Tajmahal remains closed on Fridays Red Fort, Akshardham & Lotus Temple remains closed on Mondays
